Where I stayed: St. Regis Bahia Beach

What I did: Daytrip to Old San Juan

This was a Mother + Daughter trip with the only goal being relaxation. My Mom is a St. Regis stan and wanted to check this property out and of course, I was willing to tag along. The property is stunning as it is set within Puerto Rico's El Yunque National Rainforest.

I couldn't go to a new place without a bit of adventure. So I booked an excursion through Airbnb for a guided tour of Old San Juan. It was a combo walking/driving tour that covered a lot of ground. Old San Juan was founded in the year 1521 making it the Oldest City in Puerto Rico and the second oldest City in The Americas. I enjoyed the tour and the host, Daniel, was amazing. He even gave us some great recommendations for places to visit after the tour ended.

I stopped by Olé after the tour and made my own, custom panama hat. They have been making hats in Puerto Rico since 1977. It was a fun experience to make my own keepsake to take home.

The rest of the trip we spent by the pool. It's a stunning property with top-notch service. And lots of four-legged visitors!

We ate at the restaurants onsite at the hotel. There weren't a ton of options, but everything was delicious and it was easy to stay on property.

I rented a bike to venture out on the bike trails around the property. It's a gorgeous area with a beautiful golf course and lots of waterways.

Overall, it was the perfect quick trip for a Mother + Daughter getaway. The hotel is very secluded. So if you are looking to get away and relax, I would highly recommend this property. If you're like me and need a little adventure, it's not difficult to go into town and explore.
